before getting my C7 I had a 350Z too... love the size of the Z, in comparison the C7 seems HUGE. If I had the room I would kept my Z, but sadly I had to sell it.
I miss my 350Z. I remember how crazy the headlights on the 350z looked when they first came out.
I sold the Z before getting my Corvette. A huge step up in my opinion butt I will add another someday.
i do miss my nicely modded HR, but it wasnt getting any faster without dumping a ton of money in it, so instead i sold it and bought at c6z. then a short stint in an ATS-V, and now in a nicely built C7
Quite a few years ago I had a 300zx TT, loved it. I mean think about what was out there in 1990 when it came out.
I never thought the newer ones quite lived up to it, but, I've always thought the 370 in particular is a nice looking car and with how cheap they are these days I'm kind of surprised I've never bought one.
I guess the were putting all their high end R&D into the GTR, but still always wondered why there wasn't a turbo 350/70.
I too had a 370Z that I traded for my C7 GS. I've always loved the Z cars...I've also owned a 280Z and 300ZX. I'm very interested in the specs of the new Z when it comes out.

Looks like they will finally do that with 400Z... but they should have done it sooner. The Z occupied this odd middle ground - no big V8 to compete with pony cars, no turbo to mod like a VW or Subie, yet too heavy to be tossable like a Miata or FRS / 86GT / BRZ. The V6 was a great engine but it forced to motive a heavy car.
I sort of still have a Z as my wife has an Infiniti Q60 which is really a G37 / 370Z with a different name.
My '03 Touring 6 speed had '08 wheels, Akebono BBK, Gemini exhaust, Hotchkis sway bars and Alpine Imprint + Kicker sound system. I daily drove this car for 7 years, tracked it for 5 years and racked up 75K in mileage.
Loved my 350Z when I had it. Underpowered but handled great! A fun car to drive. I had the manual Vert version.
Made many trips to the "129", Tail of the Dragon in it. That was fun!
