I have a set of ABS black spats that I would like to change to carbon flash. How difficult is it to use the carbon flash spray paint and then clear coat spray?
It is easy to do. I painted the mud flaps on mine. You would need a primer too. Do a search for painting a splitter. There are a few that take you through the steps of painting bare plastic.
Surface prep is key , , you have to sand them down to give the paint something to grip on , I would also recommend some plastic adhesion spray / primer.

Exactly. Do the prep right, the rest should turn out well.
