if you guys hate them for no manual transmission, what are you going to do when the all electric comes out. It will be faster till battery dies LOL
I want the electric version, perfect for a Corvette like my C7 that mostly sits in the garage and gets driven on weekends and for cruises or trips to the family cottage in northern Michigan (only 180 miles).
Also, electric would make all wheel drive easily possible.
Corvette's very aerodynamic design would probably give a great range. If an upright Bolt gets around 250 miles a zoomy C8 would do as well or better with the same battery pack and probably even better with the newer GM batteries that will go into all future cars.
Also, charging infrastructure should only improve over time.
Dropped my M7 Zr1 off at dealership for service yesterday and seen a C8 in person for the first time.... I am a old school corvette guy and tried to keep a open mind but they just dont crank my tractor... even the one they had all pimped out didnt do it for me... Yea if i could buy one for the right price i would just to have it. But no way would i give a 20k bump sticker.
I am constantly amazed at the number of posters on the C8 Forum that unabashedly admit that they don't like the C8! What am I missing? What is the point of spending so much time reading & commenting on the posts if all you have to say is that you don't like the marque? If you love your C7, then say so ON THE C7 FORUM.
I can't decide which is funnier, the fact that this thread WAS posted on the C7 forum first and then moved to the C8 forum and got the C8 guys' panties in wads, or the fact that it was moved BACK to the C7 forum where it belonged in the first place, making this comment (among others) look silly and out of place!
