I just bought a Corsa CAI for my Z06. Has anyone had issues installing this? I have a problem with it not sitting low enough and causing the hood to deform slightly. This is not a difficult install so I am baffled by the fitment issue.

Somewhat common problem with any aftermarket intake for the C7. The only thing you can do which may solve the issue is loosening the bolts on the airbox to the inner fender and pushing the airbox back (towards the firewall) and downwards (towards the oil pan).
To me, it looks like the the front hood strut is hitting the airbox. Notice the movement of the strut where closing the hood and make sure there is enough clearance when the hood is shut.
