Out of hibernation after 4 months. Driving this Stingray is always a pleasure, but that first drive just felt sooooo good!

The one upside of having to place your Vette in hibernation is when you take it out for the first time it is like getting a new Vette all over again.

I'm still waiting on my first drive of the season.

Snow is in the forecast for April 1st here. I'm hoping that's a cruel April fools joke.

Have had mine out a couple of times, but really looking forward to getting the car out again. It’s great therapy for the soul.

Me too first day out of storage(4.5 months), it sure went out with a bang! I wasn't too excited to get it back as I was focusing all winter working, planning to eventually buy a Huracan. I wasn't exited until :

Not 10 minutes after getting the car out of the warehouse waiting at a red light a Mercedes with biturbo (unknown model) gunned it at the green light trying to impress me with his soccer mom look alike sedan. I let him do his thing.

On the way back I accelerated on the on ramp and it got squirrely, the pavement isn't hot enough yet for 3/4 or full throttle. Nearing home as I'm turning into a side street a woman in front me was glued to her side mirror looking at the car, her mini van was getting wobbly all over the road and she was about to hit the curb into the gas station, she swerved the curb with less than 2 feet to spare.

I went to work and took it for a spin afterwards, several groups of teens were pointing at it, I had one guy following me and putting his hand out with a hang loose sign.

Later on a group of guys at the light poked their heads out of their window to stare at it, they turned off and waved goodbye.

What a wonderful day, it made me happy. Makes working in tight quarters, doing dirty jobs and enduring out of place comments from customers make it worthwhile....
