I guess there are still a lot of insecure people out there. Well thank them for their input and then tell them to GF themselves. I have always said that your car is an extension of you. Although sometimes ones personality overshadows that term. Enjoy your car and I must say I have never run into anyone that has said that to me. Perhaps the wrong crowd?

In my 58 years on earth, I have learned to buy, eat, and dress the way I want and like. Screw everyone else's opinion.

Enjoy your stingray as is, Of course that's my opinion, so screw that!

Thanks for every ones boost of confidence. I like my Z51 ( on my license plate) and its fast enough at 460hp, especially on the freeway on the way to work @ 40mph. p.s. I like the range unit but I loose about 10mpg on average.

Car shows will be more enjoyable if you go to admire other nice cars and not GAF what anyone thinks of yours!

What exactly are these clowns driving ? Everytime someone sees my "Stingray" Z51 they are taking pics and asking questions about it. I wouldn't take that personally. If you had a Z06 they'd say "too bad it's not a ZR1" and so on..

Might I suggest if you are going to show your car, or any vehicle from my experience... develop a thick-skin and go on with it.

I’m going to go against the grain here by not saying “Who cares? All that matters is that YOU like it!’.

I like it. It’s the perfect mod. It’s subtle, tasteful, inoffensive, looks to a casual observer that it COULD have been OEM, and reversible if you decide later you don’t like it anymore.

It looks good on yellow too.

It looks good even though I am not a fan of the Stingray Fender Emblem which is why I removed mine but your mod looks fine.

I have those but I removed from my hood because they were to small but bought the Vinyl version in the 6in and was more flush to my hood

I dont like the stingray badge either. Is it taped on? I would do the z51 emblem if i new it was quality, wont sun fade or crack. Anyone make a z51 sticker for the rear spoiler? Similar to the pic of the hood without the supercharged part.

As others have said, don't do add on body kits or additional badging
I and many Z51 owners have replaced the front grill and the rear quarter vents to the Z06 version. They add a lot to the car, especially the frt grill.
When someone occasionally hints at being a poser, I simply tell them I track the car. The Z06 grill improves air flow to the engine by 17% and the Z06 side scoops improve airflow to the tranny and diff cooler by 25% ' Nuff said.

I also took off the fish badges on the fenders. Much cleaner look IMO. I even removed the Corvette lettering from the rear. The people I respect will know without the badging, what the car is about. The others, I couldn't care less what they think.
The real enthusiasts among us will also recognize my AP Racing "J hook" 2 pc front rotors as a legitimate performance upgrade. Seldom gets mentioned, but they know.

And Finally, if i had added a supercharger, I wouldn't advertise it. Let them find out the hard way from a traffic light or highway pull.

I like the side fish. I’m keeping mine.

i removed the Corvette lettering on the back. I do that to all my cars (remove the lettering, leave the emblem).I like the clean look better out back. Fewer places for dirt/wax to accumulate is a bonus...

I absolutely love my '19 base Stingray and quickly learned it has much more performance capability than I'll ever need. I've only added ACS splash guards and have the side skirts ordered. Still debating on adding a rear spoiler in the future. I've never cared what anyone thinks of any of my rides. If somebody doesn't like how your car looks, tell them to go buy their own and mod it how they like.

Do not change your car to make other people happy. If you want to upgrade because you want to that is great. My advice would be, go to whatever shows or cruises you are going to, park your car, go for a walk to look at the other cars and then go for a cruise and enjoy your car. Don’t sit around your car and listen to what other people say about it. People talking down about your car because it’s “only a stingray” have personal issues.
