If I stomp the pedal from a roll (about 20mph) but then let up before the trans shifts, it will stay in that gear (2nd or third I believe) unless I hit the paddle shift + and then it will shift normal. Ive already had the triple flush and the transmission shifts normal during regular driving. Any one else experience this problem?
It's not a problem! The "stomp" activated Performance Shifting. Stay "stomped", it will shift, and you will be rewarded with an exhaust pop.
Or course, you can just resume normal driving and after about 30 seconds the transmission will return to normal shifting. (But what fun is that?)
I was hoping to hear an answer like yours! This happened to me a few times. Each time, from what you are telling me, was my own fault for not staying on the pedal. Thanks for the input....I feel much better now and next time I do the "stomp", I will make sure I have a nice open road to feel that shift and exhaust pop....
Normal. You tell it to go full throttle then back off..... It does not know what it should do so it does nothing.... Waits for input from you. Better that than killing you.
