Only lowers the top. A device called SmartTop is needed to raise remotely.

Hello,
Unfortunately, I don't own a Corvette but I am writing a story that has one in it, and wanted to ask a question or two about features a 2019 convertible would have.
1. Is there a button on the FOB that controls the top?
2. Is there a feature that remembers driver settings for more than one driver? (seat position, outside mirror position, etc.)

Yes and yes.
Button on the fob for top raising/lowering must be held down so no "accidental" roof action
FOBs may be programmed independently for two different drivers . Each FOB will be unique

I have only had Roadsters. The C7 handles much better than the C6. I do mountain roads at speed in the C7,. that I would not have been comfortable doing in the C6.
