That's gotta be some sort of record. Wow! Not just the fact that the car has lasted that many miles, but that someone drove an average of over 60k miles per year in a sports car. I wonder what possessed him to sell it. I'm not sure I would be able to let go of a car if I put that much time behind the wheel.
I messaged Rain Albertson on Facebook and he said his father is retired and just loves to go on long road trips all the time, he's always driving somewhere! :
He sold it to get into a C8. I bet he's already got 100k on it

Thanks for the follow up! That honestly sounds like a sweet way to spend retirement.
I can't imagine there are a ton of Vettes out there with +500k on the odometer given how it is frequently ranked at or near the top of mass produced vehicles that get driven the least. I bet that guy has a ton of cool stories he could share.

Goes to show that these things don't have expiration dates like a carton of milk. In the other recent thread when someone said more than 3k/yr was high mileage for a Vette I was genuinely surprised.
Have no doubt about their durability here whatsoever. 👍 I think that the C7 with Tremec Manual 7-speed transmission is the bomb! Just overjoyed to own one! Love that 2014!

If I live long enough I hope to have 500k on my C7 someday! I'm only 51 so it's entirely possible
