Who has more than 60k miles on their Vette; and how long do you plan on keeping it?
I have 64k, and plan on driving the **** out of it!

I put 97,000+ on my '15 before trading for my '19 -- I feel certain that my '15 would have easily gone 200K....

Not close to that on my 19 C7, but I put about 150K's on my C3 and about 90K's on my C5...sold both to new owners who were planning to continue enjoying them. Not an issue if it's looked after well.

Nobody's ever reported more than "97,000." Nobody knows how many miles until the engines need overhauls.

All my work sedans have been good for 100, 000. One, 305K, never opened the engine. Running fine. One, 250,000, then needed a long block.

Um, I'm at 125k+ and counting. Never had to do anything to the engine other than clean up the inlet duct when I first bought her from what I'm assuming is an overfill (dry sump) in her previous life.

Our '00 FRC is over 295k miles. Only real engine work has been replacing front main seal and damper (wore a groove in the thing!), rear main seal when I changed out the clutch package due to a pressure plate failure, and intake manifold seals. I did replace the valve springs at 175k miles, but that was because I was autocrossing/DE'ing her at the time and was totally preventative. She's still leaking oil, I'm thinking from the oil pan seals and maybe the rear main again. Just not enough of a bother to drop the suspension and rear drivetrain to fix.

Have a good one,
Mike

Waiting for the actual high miler C7s. 100K or even 150K aren't much.

Don't know what a '00 FRC is?

250K & Up, without opening the engine for anything, (even seals) now that's impressive. I've only had two cars that did it.

2000 Fixed Roof Coupe. It's the ancestor of the C5 Z06, LS1, standard T56 gear ratios, manual seats, little doo-dads that the stock C5s have that the Z06 deleted, like fog lights. Made 202 Nassau Blue FRCs in '99, 189 in '00. Supposed to be the "entry" C5.

Have a good one,
Mike

That's gotta be some sort of record. Wow! Not just the fact that the car has lasted that many miles, but that someone drove an average of over 60k miles per year in a sports car. I wonder what possessed him to sell it. I'm not sure I would be able to let go of a car if I put that much time behind the wheel.

Goes to show that these things don't have expiration dates like a carton of milk. In the other recent thread when someone said more than 3k/yr was high mileage for a Vette I was genuinely surprised.
