Default Constant C7 Value Posts

Am I the only one who is annoyed with the constant posts about what C7's are worth? I've been on a lot of different forums over the years and I have never seen a group of people so worried about what their car is worth. I mod my cars, I drive my cars, I'm not worried one bit about what my cars worth or what its going to be worth. I just don't understand why people buy these cars and then stress about what its worth. Even worse, buy them and then let them sit in the garage because they fear its going to hurt the value to drive it. There is literally a new post every single day about the value of a C7, am I the only one who is sick of seeing these threads?

Would you rather read what kind of oil to use, how much air pressure in your tires, what's a good wheel alignment, I have a cracked rim, why does my front tires shudder on low speed turns, what brake pads to use to stop the dust etc...These threads and many many redundant ones have been beaten to death year after year. Whats my car worth is relatively new. Take your pick.

I agree that the "What C7s are worth" threads are starting to get old, so I've just stopped reading them. Works for me.
But then I'm also tired of all the post by those who drive their Corvettes everyday and condemn those who don't. There's many good reasons why some don't drive their C7s everyday including having multiple vehicles.

You're right, I don't want to read any of the ones you listed. My friend warned me about the corvette community, and now I see why. This is my first vet, so I've only been on this forum for a little. Its just so different from what I am used to in other forums. I want to read tech articles and how to's, and not how to clean my seat.

I'm not condemning people who don't drive there's everyday, I don't drive mine every day. I have 3 vehicles and live in the north east. Theres a difference between people who dont drive their sports car because of weather or owning multiple vehicles and someone who just lets their car sit because they are afraid of devaluing it. You know what I mean, the guy selling a 2014 stingray in 2021 that has 2000 miles on it.

I really don't care, what I do hate is when I check the forum and there aren't any new posts. I like shine new things I know some post questions they could have searched for on here or googled the answer to or you tubed the how to. I also don't care if they drive there car or not. To be honest I was like that when I got my 03 cobra it was brand new and everytime I drove it I was worried about the mileage. Well that car is 18 years old and you can still find them with only a few thousand miles. So I will drive mine how I like, not worry about the mileage and at a point it has to many miles maybe pick up a M7 Z06 with only a few thousand miles from someone to afraid to drive her. There will always be a low mileage C7 to replace mine if I want lower mileage. Or maybe getting a C9 not a fan of the C8. I do not understand someone who buys a car and 3 years later it has 500 miles on it. Seems like a missed opportunity to enjoy the car and a waste of money for insurance and depreciation. On the other hand it's not my money to each thier own.

What General DIscussion does this thread help? If you don't like the topic shown on a thread, ignore it? Don't click on it? Click on something else? Open a thread to complain about it?

I think this needs to roll off the page into oblivion...
