Yesterday I drove into town and angle parked at the town square next to a brand new Ferrari 812 GTS. What a beautiful car! As I was getting out the owner was walking up to the car so we talked. He complimented my car and I told him his was just from another planet. I asked him what he liked most about the car and he said driving it. I told him I really like a front engine car because of the design and he agreed that that was the reason he bought the 812. It's long hood with an 800 horsepower naturally aspirated V12.. Absolutely insane! I asked him if he had considered the mid engine Ferrari 's. He said he was not really into the mid engine design and preferred the long hood and classic style of a front engine sports car. I told him I could not agree more. I know the C8 is all the rage but Im
a traditional kind of guy and I just never get tired of looking at the design of my C7. The icing on the cake is I saved $300000 by going with the Corvette.
My Ferrari is 33-years-old and still makes my heart go pitter pat..... it's not as fast as my C7, it gets terrible gas mileage, parts are expensive - the C7 is more comfortable, etc.... still ...

I agree with you regarding the front engine and longer hood. The C8 lovers can talk all they want, but the C8 doesn't appeal to me, nor does it have to.

Ferrari lists 8 models in their portfolio. Four front engine and four mid engine. Obviously there is a market for both. I'm with you.
