C7 Acceleration Values
Here is some trivia information about C7 acceleration.
This data comes from the racing logs of a stock 2015 Z51 and a stock 2015 Z06 in several open road racing events with very experienced drivers. The calculations are for pedal to the floor acceleration shortly after coming out of a turn and heading into a long straight away.
For an acceleration from about 60 mph to 88 mph
Z51 6.77 MPH/sec
Z06 7.23 MPH/sec
For an acceleration from 118 mph to 160 mph
Z51 1.94 MPH/sec
Z06 2.08 MPH/sec
For both the slow exit turn and the fast exit turn the Z06 acceleration was 6.8 % more than the Z51.
