So I bought my 2014 Corvette like 3 months ago. Was an interesting journey getting it. Was told it was factory, but had aftermarket exhaust. Later found out that it has long tube headers, Xpipe & no cats, and DSX Tuning hardware on the fuel line to run E85. The downstream 02 sensors have also been deleted, and I'm assuming it has some kinda tune on it so that the CEL doesn't constantly come on. The upstream 02's will occasionally set off a CEL though. Seems like it only happens if it sits idling for 5+ minutes....
But what I was wondering is if you all think it would be safe to try E85 fuel. If so, does it matter if it's mixed with 93 octane? Is there a way I can tell if the ECU still has a tune for E85? Thanks.
