A trip to the dealership and load up the CC... Problem solved. Knowing me, I probably would be bumping the top of the dash and hitting the button to see if that would open the door.

I say bite the bullet and have the dealer remove it. It would bug me to spend the money but unless you can do it yourself without causing more problems, what are you going to do? I wouldn’t want to sell it that way and I believe in staying on top of maintenance.

No no!.. General Motors is the Dumn *** for not contemplating a simple mistake like this!.. Thoroughness in Design doesn't seem to be a strong suit in their electronic accessories design group. Come on man!
