2017 C7 Z06 I have the Oracle side marker lights installed was running no problem. I installed the Morimoto Headlights and Tail lights.
When I hit the button to power the car up everything is fine. When I go to start the car the entire passenger side lights power off and get an over current.
If I unplug the Oracle side marker lights no problem, if I install one maybe two I get over current.
If I change to the OEM side marker lights I can have three plugged in not problem but try to add the fourth then I get an over current.
I can run the Morimoto tail lights and oracle side marker lights and have no problem.
Only a few people have seen this and suggested to wire the sidemarker lights to the license plate lights but I really do not want to hack up my wiring if I dont have to. I talked to Morimoto and they said their lights head and tail lights are not compatible with Oracle or diode dynamics side marker lights.
Have looked to see if I could adjust the resistance in the BCM but it appears to be locked.
Has online seen this before if so how did you resolve it? I love the look and really want to go with it but I am kind of stuck right now

Good luck - sounds like one heck of a dilemma. Did Morimoto mention anything about other LED lights being incompatible - for instance the ones sold by JW Motorsports? I do not know if there is a difference between those and the Oracle/Diode Dynamics ones.

They told me that they only support Morimoto products
I also just got a "Turn signal system Failure" notification on my car this past weekend while signaling left at an intersection. The turn signals were flashing rapidly and then the next time it worked fine. Starting to have concerns. I just had mine put on at Corvette World in February. Only ~1k miles since installed. I'm trying to find Morimoto contact info now.

I called them at 424-239-5142 select option 3, best to call first thing in the morning. They also have an online chat that is helpful and very responsive
Did you get this issue sorted out?? I am having the same thing now on my c7. All morimoto headlights, tail lights and markerlights. when started shuts off right side marker lights after flashing 2 times.
Thanks for any help
It sounds like you know what your possible options are, but just don't like them. Unless, you are willing to muck with the wiring, it seems like you may be stuck as is. All the best, in any event.
??? Did I miss something? I am new here but I didn't see any options. I have multiple calls into Morimoto, some helpful some not. Just looking here to see someone has the same problem. And hopefully someone can help me. If I miss the answer please direct me.
Thanks Ed
Update, have had several calls with Morimoto support and have tried most suggestions found on forums and still no fix other than going back to OEM side marker lights. The LED's draw to much current and cause the BCM to detect over current in that circuit. The last thing we are going to try is to wire the rear side marker lights to the license plate lights since they are on a different circuit. I will keep you updated
Thanks
Geoff
So update on this I called Vette Lights and they have a parking light harness that plugs into the rear that is supposed to solve the issue, I have not had a chance yet to test them out but I wanted to at least put this out there
Thanks
Geoff
