Default Side marker lights

I purchased LED side marker lights and replacement LEDs for the rear bumper reflectors for my C7. I purchased from Ebay so I'm sure they're Chinese. Some vette owners have told me I should have bought the Oracles because the cheaper ones can cause problems with TPMS and tail lights malfunctioning. I've had them installed for 3 or 4 months but not alot of miles yet. Should I be concerned?

Probably Chinese if purchased from Ebay. Turn your lights on and drive for a half hour and see if TPMS is effected. The rear LED reflectors do not cause issues as far as I know. Either way nothing to be concerned about unless you want to be able to monitor your tire pressure. I experienced this myself and returned the Chinese LEDs and replaced with the Oracles and they are issue free. Plus do a search as there are many threads on this issue.

If you have been driving for 3-4months now and no issues with TPMS have been noticed by you by now I would not be worried.

Some have the problem with the TPS, some do not. Strange how that works out. I have the LED side markers/rear reflectors and I have had the service TPS light come on.

Bought the inexpensive ones. The TPMS light came on. Returned for refund.

Recently picked up a used set of Oracles here on the forum. No issues. Look great. The fact they stick up slightly is a non-issue for me.

Nashville, I bought the really strong and thin 3M double faced tape and put a piece on the back of the oracles , then I pressed them in hard , now they sit pretty flush with the body

I almost did the same when I installed the Oracles because they didn't snap in as firmly as OEM. But they ain't coming out, so I didn't. Might revisit at some point.

I went with JW Motorsports for two reasons. 1.Cost. 2. They sit flush. So far, so good.
