The tires on my 2016 Z51 with 13,000 miles on them are getting near the wear bars and soon time for replacement. I can't finding threads on the forum with recommendations on what tire to consider for replacement. I'm sure there are some but I don't see them. If anyone knows of the forums or if you have any advice or recommendation for tires, please send them to me. Should I stay with run flats? Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Check with places like Tire Rack or Discount Tire Direct for options. Good choices would be Michelin Pilot Sport 4 ZP (runflats) or Pilot Sport 4 (non-runflats). I see Hankook makes non-runflats for the car - I had sets of them on my C5s and really liked their performance and value, but haven’t heard of anyone using them on a C7 yet.
I have a 2017 GS and I purchased Michelin A/S 4+ tires from Discount tire. I had to order them, but It only took 3 days to get them in. I have had them about 3 weeks and LOVE the ride. I don't track the car but do take it to the mountain and do some spirted driving. A friend went to Discount tire on Friday (yesterday) and they ordered the tires in and they will be here on Monday.
I also recommend Michelin A/S 4+ tires, unless you are going to race/track/push-hard.
A/S better in rain and cold, quieter, and so happy that they don't track the creases in the road.
Having a Grand Sport with wider tires in front, I can now drive more comfortable and with one hand.
A year ago I switched out to Michelin A/S 3+ non run flat and I am happy with them for overall street use. Remarkable grip in the dry and I just drove through a tropical downpour on the interstate with no issue. A little softer ride too so at this point I would suggest considering the newer A/S 4+ tires.
There have been long debates about run flat vs non run flat. I would recommend reading some of these as they are very informative. I chose non run flat and put together a kit that I carry with me at all times in case of a flat. Either way, it's a PITA if you have a damaged tire away from home. Which is why cars used to have a full sized spare.
Good luck as you purchase new tires - always a worry when you turn your car over to the lowest paid employees of the garage.
About two months ago I swapped tires/rims between the '19 and '16 because I wanted to take the convertible to the Black Hills. The A/S 3's I ordered were at least another six weeks out. When I got back I cancelled the order and my local tire shop had in Pilot Sports A/S 4 ZP's within a week. Very happy with them.
Is the Pilot Sport All Season 4 the same thing as the 4+? I don't see the plus anywhere on Discount Tire. Also how much of a risk is it if I don't go with the run flats? Lastly, any idea how many miles I could see out of a set of the Pilots with no tracking but some spirited driving?
I'm sure you've noticed the "inflated" price of the AS4 as well. I'm gonna have to change to AS before winter on my new (to me) daily driver 2019 GS. Over $500 per rear tire? Ouch...

If I am looking at the right tire at Discount Tire Direct, the rear AS4's are $321 per tire plus there are rebates going on. Free shipping.
A ton of Engineering and testing went into your car to Stick when turning.I believe the tire choice does matter in how much the car sticks.
If you drive in the rain and colder temps at your roughly 2 thousand miles per year you drive then go for a lesser sticky tire.
I purchased a sports car that sticking is important.Your at the wear bars. You will have plenty of time at your rate of driving to catch the proper tire the car was engineered for.
But again...Your car,Your choice.

I replaced the Michelin Cup 2's with Michelin Pilot Super Sport ZP.
Here is what I paid:
MCH PILOT SPORT ALL SEASON 4 run flats
Rear $514 each
Front $325 each
I also pay for all the extra stuff, like free replacements no questions asked, etc.
Total bill with Sales tax was $2,095
I would say after driving 2,500 miles on them they are on par with the A/S 3+ runflats I had before. Very good!
