Flickering map lights 2016
This afternoon my map lights started flickering in unison. When I first noticed it they were very dim, as I drove on they continued to get brighter. When I would apply the brake the flickering would stop till I released the brake.
My first thought is that I should replace the battery, it is the original. Any other things to look for?
I do not have any aftermarket leds, I did search and found that as the issue in most cases. I would think if it was a bad map light that they would not be blinking in unison, rather one or the other.

This was the closest thread I found similar to my issue but I did not think I had the after market foot well led lights.

Before I bought the new battery I thought I would check and I found that it does have these led lights. Since I am the second owner I do not have the oem lights. I changed the battery and the issue has been resolved.
