Hello All,
10,000 miles on my 2019 grand sport convertible and it’s almost time to shop tires, what’s the latest greatest and I’d certainly appreciate suggestions.
Thanks, Bert

Many, many, many threads on this - often just days apart.

A quick search, or even just paging through the forum, will keep you busy reading tire threads.

How do you intend to use the car? Some track days or just cruising? Year round use and where? Stay with run flats?

This is a very good question; Track? Weather? Road trip? DD?

Expect there to be limited quantities no matter your choice of tire. I just replaced mine two weeks ago at Discount Tire and everything was out of stock, with the exception of MPSS's.

I say go with Michelin, all seasons, and stick with the run-flats.
The Michelin all-season tire will ride a little better, quieter, and will not track the road imperfections.
You will be able to enjoy driving with one hand.

I’m a Fairweather, non-track, very low key Corvette driver. Lots of highway and turnpike day driving.

Michelin four season run flats would fit your needs.

Hello,
I just ordered out new rims and tires. I chose the Michelin A/S 4 + ZP and Forgeline rims from Gerry Corbo at Custom wheels for less,( Rims to be announced and shown when they arrive later the week of (9/13)
At least now I will not cringe every time I hit a pebble on the road that my stock wheels won't bend or crack !!!
Good luck with your choice of tires.

MICHELIN PILOT SPORT ALL SEASON 4 ZP

I just received my new tires and Forgeline wheels for my 2017 GS. All season tires are the way to go if you don’t plan to track your car.

That's my eventual route barring a new greater option.

This is one option. However there are a good many of us who enjoy the higher performance of sport tires even when not tracking the car.

It all depends on what you want. There are options to suit everyone.

I agree but MICHELIN has hit it out of the park with their Pilot Sport all season from what I have read and heard from owners of the AS3 and AS4's ZP's...

There are many happy with all-season sport tires.

I just do not happen to be one of them.

Been looking at these tires too, any specific reason you don't like them?

Yes, is it because of the lack of grip ?

There are tradeoffs with everything. All-season are all-season, they give up performance to be adequate in all conditions. I am not interested in adequate.

But others are very happy with giving up performance for better cold weather behavior, a perfectly fine tradeoff if this is what is important to you. There is no right or wrong, just preferences.

As I mentioned in a few posts up the board I had an order in from Gerry at Custom Wheels For less. They arrived in about a week and a half and I just mounted them on the 'Vette. Gerry was great to work with and the Forgeline FO1 Wheels and Michelin A/S 4+ZP work AND look great on my GS.
