I went half way in between !! Had chrome and went to to Forge Line FO1 ,Black Ice with mounted Michelin A/S 4 +ZP. Got them from Gerry at "Custom Wheels For Less" " He is a great person and great to deal with. He treated me "Very Well" Got them in a week and a half and they came packaged in boxes that would survive an earth quake !

Brakes on these cars are very easy to service. Really.
I have changed many rotors and brake pads with just a floor jack and the correct size wrench.
There are likely local Corvette owners who would be delighted to help. Many are happy to share their knowledge.
I was replacing brake pads, rotors, calipers, fuel pumps, water pumps, belts and alternators on Nissans, Fords and Hondas long before I got my first Corvette. I don’t consider myself a mechanic nor did I consider the workers to be mechanics at national chain repair shops who messed up brakes and shocks. So I started doing some simpler things myself to save money and make sure they were done correctly. YouTube and this forum are great resources. I have relied on the Corvette Forum for nearly 17 years.
You made me look! But anyway since I'm here, Black wheels!!!!
Simply spray them with plasti-dip & a coat of clear. If you don't like the way they look, take it off & you won't have spent any big $$$. IMHO I can't stand black rims on any white car.
I like chrome. It's a $1900 plus option on my C7. The downside is you can touch a scratch up on chrome like you could with a black wheel. I see so many people driving other cars and trucks that have the factory hubcaps or wheels painted black.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
