How long did you wait for the glued mounts to cure before putting the glass on them? The manual says at least 72 hours. That seems like a long time. I want to get the electrical connected and need to mount it to know where to cut the access wires. I do not plan on driving or stressing the mounts until the weekend which is more than the 72 hours.
I actually had mine put on at Corvettes at Carlisle a couple years ago and they had my car for about 5 hours. We never had an issue with any slippage and they look great..

The mounts are not glued. They are 3M tape. Installed mine in 80°f drove 30 minutes later. Solid. You mount it as one unit. Mounts and all ready to go. Then just place it on the car and push down good for 30 seconds.
It is clear plastic not glass. There are no wires unless you want to hardwire it to your car. It has a rechargeable battery pack. Fairly heavy, it sticks to the underside of the waterfall top. Charged mine once back in July I think. Still going strong.

Sorry, yes 3M taped. Just complete mine, hard wired.

Excellent reply, Z06LIFE. I want to transfer my Windrestrictor to new tonneau covers on my convertible and thought my gosh, these things are glued on?
Going to contact the company for assurance on the transfer.
I have the WindRestrictor coupe version for my 19 Z06. I opted for the multi-lighted etched C7 logo and hard-wired it into the battery fuse box area. I like it and it really cuts down on the wind when driving with the roof off. With the roof on, it still looks good inside the car. I'm considering rewiring it to light up with the brake lights.
well im gonna order one of those ,but I cant install it till april ,so im gonna wait !! sure does look nice!!
Incentive to order now, got 15% off total by entering ‘corvette channel” in code section off checkout. Normally, 10% discount. Not sure how long the extra 5% will last but it was good last week.
Appreciate all the great info here! Have to ask, if one wants to remove the WindRestrictor for any reason, does anyone know whether the adhesive used to install the brackets leaves and permanent residue, marks, or damage on the quarter glass "sills"?

I asked them that exact question. I was told heating up the tape under the bracket would allow for easy removal. I suspect using "glue be gone" or similar product would remove any remaining residue..
I hard wired mine to the 37 fuse as recommended by the instructions; however, you need to keep the car in accessory mode to light it up when the car is not running. Does anyone know where in the fuse box I can tap into to be able to light the wind reflector without the car in accessory mode? The reflector has it's own remote so I can use it to turn on and off.

Tell tale evidence after removal was my concern, too.
I watched an install video where the adhesion promoter appeared to make the plastic shinier than the surrounding plastic long after it should have evaporated.
