WIND RESTRICTOR QUESTION
Just wondering if you guys that have one have tried the RPI designs one? I like the look of them especially at night when it is lite up,i sure they help a little on wind but was wondering what would be a good one to buy without drilling into the car?
Not sure about the one from RPI designs but I purchased mine from WindRestrictor.com - Have nothing but good things to say, they worked with me to design exactly as I wanted anf the installation was very easy.

I second WindRestrictor.com. I used them for the custom one on my Mercedes SLK. Very reasonable price and actually had them do the installation for me for chump change. Have had the product in that car for 3 years and it is great quality. Mine had custom artwork and illumination.
Hello RPidon, just called RPI to get some information on these; however was unsuccessful in getting anyone. Hoping you can answer a couple of questions.
Does the multi color option illuminate in Orange or can you get Oranage as a stand alone? Can you stop at a specific color light instead of just cycling through colors? Also, is there an installation vid for the C7 coupe? I'm more interested in the wiring to get the restrictor to illuminate.
Thanks in advance.
Yes, I would like to try it. I just do not want to buy one for $349.00 and find out I do not like it. I like the wind and my Wife does not, so I am looking at getting it for when she is in the car.
Get it from wind restrictor, trust me. Also it doesn't stop all of the wind. A good deal of it but not all. I got the lit up version. It's sick.
Thanks, Yes, I checked out their site and they offer the exact configuration I would like. Did you get one color or the multiple colors option? Do you know if you get the multiple colors lights if you can hold the light at a particular color?
Not sure about the multi light setup. I got red to go with the LBR paint job. The ONLY drawback/weird thing about it is that when you look in your rearview mirror you see what's in front of you as well as what's behind you. It kinda freaks ya out the first time but you get used to it fast.
I think mine was $450 or something like that. Worth every penny. Buy it.
So stupid question #1, for the C7 coupe version does it stay installed all the time or do you need to remove and reinstall when the top goes back on and comes off?
Nevermind, I found the answer, on RPI's website.

Just ordered the C7 Z06 Multicolored with quick disconnect and hard wire install from windrestrictor.com. Spoke to Robin on the phone and watched all the on line install videos over the weekend which answered all my questions. FYI, if you put corvette channel in the promo section when ordering or give them that code when on the phone they give you a extremely generous discount off the total. I will take pictures once installed.
