Default Bye C7

We just sold our 2015 Z51 A8 2LT, actually traded it in for a C8 next year. Got a great price on the Z51, so now the waiting begins. LONNNNG wait. There are 19 people ahead of me at this dealership. They are only allotted one at a time, they are hoping for more at once.
Got an Accelerate Yellow non-Z51 (don't need it), but got the exhaust package (of course!). Black wheels and black interior. Can't wait.

Also selling my Z06 C7 this week to a Chevy dealership who has very few cars on the lot. I've owned a C8 for over a year while deciding which to keep. I got a good deal when I bought the C7, so after 4.5 years of use it only depreciated 7K. Car prices are high right now !

I owned a C8 non Z51 in Rapid Blue alongside my C7 Z06. I will say I preferred my Z06 M7 simply because of how raw it is and because I like to row my own. If your going from an A8 C7 Stingray to a C8 I will say with about 95% certainty that you will love the C8. I really liked mine, the interior is so much better, it was fast as hell without any effort (hooray mid engine weight distribution) and it was incredibly comfortable and got great fuel economy on the highway. The only thing I didn't like about it was that the cargo space is worse (makes road trips more difficult) and that I wish the exhaust was louder. Oh and if I got a C8 again I'd get the convertible.

Hopefully the wait isn't to bad for you.

Congrats!
With (19) ahead of you that could be a short wait or a really LONG wait all depending on your dealer's allocations.
Mine should arrive in about 9 months, hope your wait goes by fast.

Congrats on the sale and good luck getting your order picked up and the build done. Hope it happens sooner rather than later.

Thank you, everyone. I have never enjoyed a car as much as the C7. I'm sure I will enjoy the C8 just as much, if not more!

I have plenty of time to ponder as I will NOT pay above list, especially how much more is demanded (finally saw a C8 1LT '20 used for less than 90K). It will be months (I guess) before that becomes closer to reality plus I have the manual and a convertible Z51 and I would miss both of those very much. Really don't know even if I could do it today.....enjoy, you win either way......

Congrats. C7 Z06 Vert is my dream car. Only way I might ever consider a C8 is if the Z06 came in convertible, is reasonably priced and looks half decent.

I doubt there will ever be a GS in the C8's future. I have both a Stingray and a Z06 coming.

Agreed. Zero interest in current C8 and probably not much in the upcoming C8Z but I'm hopeful I'll change my mind.

Great time to sell the C7 though, hopefully the wait is not to long for OP
