C7 firing problems
C7 stingray has a misfire problem….. Car shutters when I hit the gas, like it has a bad plug or something…. I’ve changed the spark plugs and wires. I thought it was the transmission, had it flushed by the dealership….I even changed a couple of coil packs…. It does it when I mash the gas,but not alll the time.Seems like it does it when switching in an out of v4 mode, it hard to explain ..any help thanks

Put the transmission in manual mode and use the paddles to shift like you have a manual transmission. Manual mode turns off AFM. Try accelerating that way a few times in several gears. If there is no misfire then the issue may be related to the AFM switching from 4 to 8 cylinder operation when driving in Auto Mode, The auto cars seem to have all sorts of issues with the switch while M7s operating in Eco Mode (AFM actirve) don't have an issue. When I operate my car in Eco Mode I rarely feel anything when the engine switches. I can only tell by the change in exhaust noise. Loud for 8 cylinder operation and quiet for 4 cylinder operation.
