Well for ***** and giggles I stopped by the Chevy dealer today to see what my 2015 vert with 99K miles, dash separating, transmission with delayed engagement and fading ***** on the ac controls would bring........I threw out what I thought was a high number and he matched it. I thought it was time to "get while the getting was good" and traded t in for a more practical (for me) car that wouldn't cost me a small fortune in tranny repair or dash replacement. For now it's a 2020 Impala. This falls in lone with my 2 year plan to consolidate, sell my house and move out of Georgia.........You guys have been a true blessing........

Just because you do not have a Vette does not mean you have to leave - heck, there are a lot of members in OT who do not have a Vette but continue to contribute there as well as other sections of the forum.
In any case, congrats on getting a 2020 Impala - you will really like the car. I have a 2015 and it has been a rock solid car for nearly 64K miles.

Oh I'll still poke my head in every so often especially in the A8 threads..... It's strange looking out in the garage and seeing silver instead of Yellow......
Thanks to all for the well wishes.........You people are awesome..................
The 2020 Impala you bought is, in my opinion, the best sedan Chevy has produced in 40 or 50 years. Fantastic car! Good looks, cavernous interior space and trunk plus a V-6 that will get 30 mpg on the highway. Even Consumer Reports praised it. But the brainless public demands SUVs — so the fate of the Impala was sealed. Damn fine car!! Congrats!!

Good for you since it works nicely into your overall plan............
But feel free to check in once in a while, I expect quite a few here don't own C7s.

Agreed. A good looking car, enough cubby holes and trunk space to hide a cadaver and being a flex fuel vehicle I can use e85. Oddly though my insurance went up a little. I moved all my songs that were on a scandisc to a thumb drive and they work perfectly. Sirrus has also been switched over.
I understand about trading. I have thought about it as well. However, I still have my 2016 Stingray. Best of luck to you. As others have said, don't be a stranger. Check in on us every once in a while. Let us know how you like your new Chevy.
