Can not find the thread about installing the Ranger device to eliminate going into V4 from V8 mode. My question is where did you buy them and what did you pay for them. I see them on Ebay and Amazon from $120 to $200. Would like to get one and curious as to what price range I would be looking at. If the cheaper ones do not work then I would need to move up to the more expensive one. TIA
We purchased a Range device directly from the manufacturer for my girlfriend's (then new) 2019 Stingray with the A8. My 2017 Stingray didn't need one because it has a manual transmission.
Best $180 we ever spent......and it stayed in the car until we sold it in October. I removed the device when the buyer came to get the car. I gave it to a fellow Corvette club member who has a Stingray with the A8.
The Corvette is a V8 car and isn't supposed to run on 4 cylinders. GM experienced lots of issues with the AFM system on the V8 Silverado pickup trucks.
Above is correct, don't purchase on Amazon, eBay or second hand, purchase direct from Range to insure you get the latest updated model, warranty and free updates as long as you own it.

I just sold mine to a member here. I've had it a bit over a year and bought it from Range. We matched the number on it and it was a perfect fit........
