Default AC blend door

The temp cooled down a bit this weekend, and the car had to actually put some heat out. Today it got back up in the high 70's but no air would come from the dash vents. I tried to manually cycle with no luck. The little info I have seen on this looks like it is not something I want to mess with. Any ideas before I take the gut punch?

If you have a ODB2 reader, check for A/C codes. I didn't know this type of issue could log a code, but if the issue is electronic related you may have a code. Mine ended up needing the A/C head unit replaced.

Mode control actuator is stuck. $1381.00 repair. Lucky for me I recently purchased the vehicle from Carvana, and it is within their 100 day warranty period.

Ditto for me.
Mine was $1600 and some change. It happened with 3 days left on the 100 day Silverrock warranty with Carvana. My cost was $ 50.

3 days? Talk about great timing! I had 27 days. I am paying out of pocket for 3 other actuators and a little more labor to get to the one that is a little deeper to avoid any out of warranty issues.

I did that too. I wanted to replace all the good actuators ( I think 2) at my cost, so I thought.
The dealer replaced them at no charge after all.

The same failure happened to my C6 ($1,400 repair). That was one of the main reasons I bought an extended warranty for my ‘19 GS. Virtually the entire dash needs to be disassembled to effect the repair…it wasn’t a pretty sight, lol.
