Replace the battery in both of your FOBs.

Do you have both FOBs? Are your original owner of the car and the two FOBs in your possession came with the car?

ALso, use the key in the FOB to get into the car. THe keyhole is located back by the license plate light. If you put the FOB, even with a dead battery or even without a battery, into the steering wheel slot, you can start the car.

A simple thing, but good to have it resolved.

As you discovered, when electronic stuff fails to work the battery is a good starting point in solving many such problems.
