Oops, @Quick99 reminded me of the belt tensioner. I replaced that also and bought a Range AFM disabler right afterward. Did the repair myself for about sixty five bucks for the part.
The common 2014 issues I see pop up are: the bad fan relay, infotainment screen glitches, belt tensioner leak, Z51 brake rotors, 3LT dash bubbles (effects other years too) and the difficult to close hatch due lack of power pull down.
Personally in 38k miles my C7 Premier Edition has only had the brake rotors warp and the hatch pull down problem. I had infotainment screen issues but that was due to nothing more then a lose connector at the HMI unit. I've had some very minor, odd ball stuff - for example a reverse sensor failed, a cargo tie-down snapped, a LED clearance light stopped working and oddly my SiriusXM antenna died. All of these super easy and cheap to fix, I repaired each issue myself in the driveway. Cosmetically my transparent roof is crazing and my stinger hood decal has deteriorated... I blame UV damage from the FL sun.
I spent about $2K on my 2014 changing the parts out to get Apple CarPlay and I am getting a front camera installed today. The camera will be tied to the infotainment system and come on when I flip a switch. Would like to know about the $450 mod that fixes that.
I have had the '14 for two years and 33K miles and it is rock solid. Wonderful machine.
THe navtool gives you a KINDA Carplay you have to use a joystick to select things when it should be touch screen... not the same.
