Has anybody had a Navtool CarPlay installed by a shop and if so what did they Charge? After reading various posts about some issues and running lines from passenger side over to driver side I’m thinking of having one of their Dealers install it. There is a shop that’s about 1 1/2 hours from me and they charge 300 and say it’s a 3 hour appointment. To me it doesn’t sound to crazy of a price and they do it all the time as opposed to a car stereo place.

I’ve installed one. There were times during the install I would’ve gladly paid $300 to have it done. I think that price is still a bit high. Passing the wires from the passenger side to the driver’s side WAS challenging for sure. I found it easier to cut the connector and resolder the wires back together. Maybe they ship them out now without the connector pinned so it makes it easier?
The wire has gotten thinner and the plug does have a connector on it to makle the run over the hump much easier. It sure was a bear when I did it a few years back.
