Default Looking for Feedback on Vertini Wheels

Vertini RFS1.1 in Gloss Black

I’ve been researching 10-spoke gloss black radial wheels for my narrowbody 2017 Z51 (19/20 fitment – low miles and never tracked). I’m read up on cast vs flow formed vs fully forged, understand the pros and cons, and I’m limiting my total spend to $2k. I’ve seen the Vertini RFS1.1 (shown) in pics on this forum. One member said they had issues with the finish on their Vertini’s deteriorating after a year. Is this a one-off situation, or a “you get what you pay for”? Has anyone else had any good or bad experiences? I’m open to other similar radial-style options if you know of any. Thanks

Subscribing to this as I'm looking at wheels as well. The ones I want are much more expensive but I have also looked at Vertinis 1.2, out of stock by the way. Also looking at Stance wheels. Interested on hearing feedback.

Sometimes even powdercoat can have a tiny flaw, seen some go nuts over that. Not a big deal unless its bad.

I've had my Vertini RFS 1.2 wheels for 2 years now and have not seen any degradation in the finish other than due to my own occasional mistakes with curbs.

I have a '19 GS. After two years of daily driving, I replaced the OEM wheels due to them developing cracks in the rear wheels. I replaced them with Vertini rotary flow forged RFS1.2 wheels with a gloss black finish.

In twelve months of daily driving on the Vertini wheels, they had three large chips in the gloss black. The chips were on the spokes of the wheels, about halfway between the rim and the center. The chips were approximately the size of a pencil eraser. I do not know how or why the chips occurred. The wheels also developed cracks in the inner rim of the rear wheels. They also were bent. I replaced the entire set of Vertini wheels after about twelve thousand miles and twelve months. I purchase a set of fully forged wheels from another manufacturer.

Attached are pictures of my Vette with the Vertini wheels.

Appreciate the feedback. That is similar to the description provided by the other source I referenced in my original post. Thanks

I was looking at the Vertini's but decided to go with the American Racing 954 Crossfire as they look similar...just food for thought if you wanted alternatives.
