If you pronounce UV phonetically, it would be OF. The 66 is a 2nd generation of 8 generations, 2UV8. The 72 is a 3rd generation, 3UV8. My goal is to have all 8, until the next generation come out, then all new plates and a new vette. LOL

This was the extent of my understanding as well. I was getting V8 as in engine type, and wondered what the U indicated.
