Default Portable Inflator Recommendation

Anyone have a recommendation on a portable air inflator. I'd like the readout to be digital AND accurate. Also it would be nice to dial in a pressure and have it stop at that point.

For adding a few lbs here and there the Ryobi battery powered one is great = no cords and auto shut off at set PSI. Accuracy appears to match the TPMS on the car. However for more heavy duty work like a flat, multiple tires or bigger tires (truck / trailer) I use a Viair unit. I have a Joe's Racing gauge for accuracy at the track.

Good for you. I made less than 30,000 miles on my new Vette before I cracked a rim and needed my inflator every 50 miles just to get home. It never hurts to be prepared.

Since the C7s do not have a cigarette lighter, where do you plug it into?

I enjoy a good tool and consider this DeWALT to be one of my better purchases. Has all the features you're looking for.

They may not have a lighter, but they have sockets in two places I know of.

Exactly and the one on the console works just fine for plugging in a portable compressor.

Had I not made one myself I think I might've gone with the Ryobi.

This one (from a Miata) works great for autocross/track days, and for routine top-offs. A 5000 mAh 4-cell lithium pack will fill multiple tires, and 14.8 volts spins the motor just a little faster. I have a smaller pack (2200 mAh) that fits inside the housing too. So nice to avoid hassling with the cord.

I have a Hyper Tough that I picked up from Walmart awhile back. It's digital, has a detachable light on it, and connects to the cigarette light port. I think it was around $80. Has served me without issues.

Default Milwaukee baby!

I highly recommend this tire inflator. Runs off the M12 battery system. I have one and use it all the time. Did you read out very accurate stops automatically. Of course we sell them in my work so I am partial to milwaukee. 5 year warranty on the tool and they back it up. PM me if anyone is interested in special pricing.

Have a small cheap one. Came as a kit with 2 cans of inflator goo.

For me, equally important that it fits in the rear cubby and leaves a little room for other gear.
Most do, but not all.
