One is stronger than the other, hence the price difference.

Forged is a lot stronger and lighter than flow forged. Worth the extra $ for strength and performance purposes. Our best seller is BC Forged.

Here some info.

Forged:
A forged wheel is manufactured from a billet, or a large square piece of solid metal like 6061-T6 Forged Aluminum.
The billet is heated to extreme temperatures and pressurized to take its shape.
This thermal cycle process causes forged wheels to be stronger than cast wheels due to grain refinement.
Consistent forging makes for stronger structural integrity with less material compared to a cast wheel, however the process costs more,.
Forged wheels offer several advantages.
The manufacturing process results in a stronger wheel by eliminating cavities, porosity, and shrinkage.
Due to its tighter grain structure, forged wheels are also mechanically stronger, ensuring better wear resistance over time.
You also get better performance and handling because of this process.

Rotary Forged / Flow Formed / Spung Forged / Flow Forged = same process

Here is a video to show RF Wheels.

Rotary Forged Wheels are a great option for those who are not looking to spend big bucks on set.
Still strong and Light weight for daily use.
Just stay away from buying cheap CHINA Wheels.

In this case one gets what one pays for; plus all wheels with "forged" in the name are not created equally, as noted.

With wide-body C7s all you need to do is look at the tons of threads and posts here... they are especially needful of fully forged, quality wheels (which GM crapped out on providing to save money, pure and simple). All the best, in any event.
