To me, the most useless item on our C7 is the analog speedometer, sitting totally ignored on the left hand side of the instrument group.
With the digital indications in the center cluster and the HUD, I can literally go years without looking at that wasted space.
(People without HUD may think differently)
So, has anyone found a use for the space occupied by the analog?
I don't want to pull the dash apart to install something new, and I can't completely cover it because there are some warning lights embedded there.
The remote display for my Valentine1 sits nicely on top of the steering column.
Has anyone found something that goes in front of the analog and mostly covers it while performing a useful function?
Waiting for good suggestions...
I have HUD and and the fact that the analog speedometer is really not needed is no big deal. Can not think of what you would replace it with, I certainly would not waste my time or money doing so.

Me neither. Maybe a picture of my avatar with less clothes?

The wife’s 2020 Avalon has three speedometers.
Digital readouts on the HUD and center DIC plus the analog display.
Hard to miss reading a speed when they are everywhere.
I must admit the only thing that catches my attention is the little Speed sign that turns Red
when the area speed limit is exceeded.
If it really bothers you that much, just put a picture of your family or something over it lol.
The only thing that "bothers" me is that the space could have been used for something helpful, so I'm wondering if anyone has indeed found a use for the space.
Anything you put over it, like a picture, must be small enough to not obscure the warning lights are are in that area.
It lets your passenger see how fast you're going. I've ridden with a friend in his C7 on long trips and I've enjoyed this but I suspect there are a lot of drivers who would not like their passenger to see it.

You have a point there. Sometimes when I need to pass someone, or several someones, on a long stretch of open road; my wife will say "you got up to xxx mph on that pass!"
Usually, that makes her happy.
