Since convertibles don't have air intakes on top of the quarter panels, is there another pathway that ducts air to the transmission and differential coolers?
There is no air dam in the center of the car and air flows to the back axle where there is a plastic deflector to force air flow up to the cooling coil above the axle.

Convertibles don't have them at all because that panel has to move to accommodate the top. On the base model coupes with manual trannys they are fake. On coupes with an automatic the driver's side is functional - there is a heat exchanger to provide cooling for the auto transmission. This is only true for the Stingray models.

Yes. There's lower frame ducts on convertibles. But that's only equipped on Z51s, Gran Sports, and Z06es.
