CAI bust
Hi, so I’m sure this may sound stupid but owell, so my air intake snapped in half and I think JBweld is phenomenal so I figured it was worth a try it didn’t last long, I snapped off I drove like 8 miles, it wasn’t wet or raining… I thought my tranny was slipping tbh, anyways do you think I did major damage? Also where can I get a air intake tube is the oem the same for as it is for a halltech? I don’t wanna buy a $600 intake can I just get a replacement hose? Appreciate it thanks

I have a full spare (I am a corvette parts hoarder or something). Just pay the shipping and it is yours.
PM me if you want it.

JBWeld is incredible. I've used it . That said? I'd get the OEM parts replacement.

It broke because I've end is bolted to the fender and the other is on the motor so it's constantly flexing , JB weld is pretty ridged
Awesome Gesture Denull .. !

Not blind Avanti , the flex connector on a C7 is still pretty rigid , not like the rubber bellows on a C6, its much thicker and stiffer
