Mouse?
Pulled the Z06 out of the garage today for a quick cleaning getting ready for warm weather cruising and found a piece of mouse bait in the gutter under the rear hatch. I always keep the garage baited in the winter months to avoid mice. My question is where did it go,and how could it get in. Hopefully it is dead, now I just have to find it.

I used to use poison in my garage until I found those green pellets all over the place. I use the victor spring traps now,and they work pretty good.

May have to go that route. Never had any trouble before using bait.

That mouse could be anywhere, unfortunately. Hopefully it doesn’t get to the point where the only way youngish find it will be an awful smell.
I agree that using the traditional spring traps is sometimes the best way to go - dead mouse is right there.

I've got 8 snap traps around the car, the worst if it's able to scurry 2 feet away but you'll smell it. Caught 22 of them in 2021 and I caught one last week. Make sure to refresh the peanut butter every 2-3 weeks.

When you rub the apple on the floor they follow it and go right into the pail . or trap as it makes them hungry.

I had a rat/mouse problem last year. Got some heavy duty rat traps and the first thing I did was drill a hole and tie twine to the traps so they couldn't be carried away.

Do not use poison. 25 years as a dealer tech and had a lot of problems w/ mice in customer cars. You want to trap them and throw them away like Dale#3. Poison makes them feel crappy, if they have been in your car, it is a nice cozy spot to go, so they do. And then they die. Worst smell in the world. I buy the traps in a 6 pack so when I catch one, I throw away the mouse and the trap.

Poisoned mice can also wander far enough before dying to be food for other animals that you would not want to poison.

Thinking about trying the below. Saw it featured this past weekend on one of the Two Guys Garage type shows.
Anybody tried it?

I reuse the traps, some are several years old and have caught many. At first I used to put them outside along the garage door but what happens is that once caught a neighbor's cat or raccoon would take off with the entire thing!

Might want to check your cabin air filter. They seem to like that area.
Don't use bait. They stock it away in many places. Use moth ***** or traps.
