Inconsistent AC
I tried to search but couldn’t really find the same issue..
Generally my AC is fine. Not great, but gets the job done. However, sometimes I notice it kick on and get really cold (perfect). There’s no correlation to being stopped or cruising, and it happens to both passenger and driver sides.
I have a 2016 Z51 3LT with 65,000 miles I got about 2 months ago. I live in Florida so I’m really just trying to get ahead of it before the real heat comes.
Any idea if this is a fan issue, recharge, motor..? Just trying to figure out where to start troubleshooting before I take it in.
I appreciate any help.

If it’s low on Freon, it’s best to vacuum the system out and then weigh in the proper amount. This is the correct way and the way dealerships do it. But you have to have all the correct equipment and knowledge to do it right.
