I typically disconnect the negative of the battery for a bit as a first step when confronted with such an oddity. The system may respond to a reboot.
If this is the original battery in your 2015 it may need replacing.

The first step is to turn off the motor and then restart. Lots of gremlins are solved that way (including HUD not displaying for me this week). After that. try disconnecting the battery for 5-10 minutes.

Good advice above. The Nav system does not expire or have to be renewed (although new maps do come in handy every so often for the updates).
