I definitely see less gas mileage because when I have the exhaust in track mode, I like to let the engine rev a bit higher and I drive more spiritedly. I suspect that if I didn't change my driving behavior, I would get just about the same mileage as I would with it in stealth mode. If anything, I would think that a more open, freer flowing exhaust would yield a slight increase in mileage if all else was held constant.

Yeh, I too like listening to the exhaust note more with the valves open so I do tend to keep my foot on the gas pedal a bit more - if gas mileage goes down a little, so be it. But if I drive conservatively, I really do not notice any decrease in gas mileage with the valves open.

Thanks, I guessed that. Normally I wouldn't care but I just paid the highest price for premium in the 5 years I owned the car.
Terrible situation, I hope its temporary but with companies pushing EVs. I think it may go higher.

I realized that I was doing the same thing. Accelerating more often just to hear that music to my ears. Just as gas was rising, I decided enough was enough and I pulled the fuse for the NPP system (#87 in the 2019). Never looked back. No regrets and I do get the same (maybe a bit better?) mileage as before, but now the music is full-time and awesome.
I leave it in Stealth, unless there is a loud pretender, close by.
.
On a side note, I did notice on the way back from picking up my C6 at the Corvette Museum, I lost about a mile per gallon having the top down. It was worth it!
As soon as I got my '19 C7 a few years ago, I removed the stock muffler. Period. Sounds great, especially when you get on it, otherwise not too loud and no drone that is bothersome. Who cares about mpg? Do we join the Corvette club and really wonder about MPG? Its a Corvette. GM already screwed things up with the whole AFM deal. Because they thought maybe mpg was a dealbreaker on a traditional combustion engine on a CORVETTE! What a mess! Caused a whole array off issues over this. We dont buy these cars to get great gas mileage or run on 4cyl. Its an icon. Want great MPG? Buy a Prius or go Elec! Tesla. I just pay whatever the cost of premium to fill it up and enjoy! Thats it. MPG threads here are so funny to me

Seems like it affects my mileage but not sure.
