^ Sounds like a good alternative for $60/year. If you want a paper manual, you may be able to get one from Helms or post a WTB thread in the C7 Parts for Sale section and see if someone has a 2014 set of manuals for sale.
The problem with the recent paper manuals is they're organized based on information that was meant to be hyperlinked in a web browser. So if you want to remove one assembly, you may have to have sections open in the same book, or one of the other volumes, just to have all the steps available to complete the procedure.
I used to prefer paper manuals too, but that was before they were 7000+ pages and 4 volumes. Now I just keep an old laptop in the garage, and print off certain pages that I might want to have close at hand when I'm in an awkward spot.

I thank you for your help, that maybe the way to go,a cheap laptop, and $60. a year, has that worked well for you over any length of time?
Helm can provide the manuals on a USB stick that you can take with you to use on anybody's computer or just load on your computer and use Adobe Acrobat to access them. You don't need a network connection to use the manual so it works great when you are at a location that may not have a network to use.

I've heard rumors that if you search a certain big auction site you can find an inexpensive PDF manual. But it doesn't have an index and it's a pain to search. Caveat emptor.
There are a number of sites out there that sell PDF manuals inexpensively for many Corvette generations. Yes, they are inexpensive. But the quality of the PDfs' are poor and the information they provide will generally be incomplete.
I was looking for some electrical diagrams for C6 Z06. So I thought the cheep site would certainly have the electrical wiring diagram I needed. After all, they claimed their electrical diagrams were complete. Well, the diagram I needed was not included in the download from the cheep site. In the end I purchased a used C6 Helm set from ebay. The Helm set gave me everything I needed.
Do yourself a favor. Don't bother with the cheep stuff. It's a waste of time and money. You'll be better served with the Helm manual set, or the AllData subscription.
