Torch Red with black wheels, red and black just stand out. Chrome makes it look old.

In the OP's case, I like the black wheels against the red. In my case, I prefer chrome for the extra sparkle factor.

There is a reason why commercial ceilings are painted flat black when they are unfinished They visually disappear. Your picture makes my point.

Actually I’m pleasantly surprised there’s been no bickering, since I like both equally which is why I swap back and forth. 57 useful responses and one useless post from Skid Row Joe. The last part was expected.

A very helpful thread I think. Most of us are enthusiasts and we always wonder “how would this wheel look with my color”. Personally, and obviously I already stated earlier what I thought worked best on my car, but I think with a red vette, the black wheels look mean. It’s just a nice combo. As for Joe, no worries. He thinks every thread is an off-topic thread.
