Bought my side skirts several years ago from RPI Designs painted carbon flash. Still look like new, but my car stays in the garage and is not driven all that much. Perhaps it would be a different story if the car was a daily driver.

OP: Take pictures in direct sunlight so that we can see.
"Paint color wax" is a bit of a marketing technique and not a real thing. Sounds good though!
- If you bought a lower grade product, it's possible the paint/clear coat is not up to par.
- That part of the car can catch dirt and grime because of the way it sits. If you're not cleaning it properly, then it's possible it's starting to show its age. I power wash mine off before cleaning there.
