Front floor console front compartment is what GM calls it I call it a cigarette lighter. I'm replacing mine so I went to my dealer and after 6 weeks that haven't gotten it so I looked at some companies that sell GM parts Found it...Retail get this $470.00 discounted to $315.00. Just had to tell somebody

Can you post a photo or drawing?
The part I'm thinking of doesn't seem related to the floor.

Wait and get a parts car. That's the only way to come out on a lot of replacement parts.

You're (on order) getting a 2023 Corvette anyways, aren't you?

Well, they're certainly proud of that little item, aren't they?

Try your nearest salvage yard. Many are networked and can get things from all over.

Still trying to figure out how it relates to the "front floor", but GM can call it whatever they want.

As others have mentioned, there are lots of what we used to call "junkyards", and some of them specialize in Corvettes. That part looks like it would survive most crashes.
Best of luck to you.

Are you referencing the shifter console area. Trying to order the accessory port alone is expensive, but ordering the whole console assembly that comes with all the doors and hardware is much cheaper. I learned that trick from American Hydrocarbon.

That is a foolish price, but they seem to nail us on every purchase of anything on our beloved cars!

I'm surprised Doorman doesn't make a simple power receptacle replacement if yours is broken, or is there more to it than that?

What you guys think about replacing the whole console? I mean it's new and the part we've been talking about is 315 or more. I haven't talked to salvage places yet. My car is a '15 Z51 25,000 showing. I don't have any plans to get a C8 until they get off of these ridiculous prices and they might not in my time frame. Thanks everybody
