When changing out the brake pads does the wear sensors have to be replaced?. 2018 GS with 7k miles

Do you have CCBs? If yes, and you're getting a warning you need to replace the sensor. Pretty good link: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...on-brakes.html

If you have an iron brake car, there are no sensors.

The OEM pads for the iron brake cars have audible wear sensors (squealers) that let you know when the pads are worn. The squealers are riveted to the pads. Some aftermarket pads don't have them.
