Had the triple flush done on my 2016 Stingray transmission today. Wow, what a difference. Should have had it done last year. And the dealer said that it will only get better the more I drive.
Anyone who hasn't done this and has the shutter problem, Get IT Done. It's worth it.
Yep, it's pretty much a fact very well documented on this forum that the triple-flush works for curing A8 aliments. Too bad GM didn't come up with it sooner as it could have saved many C7 A8 owners of much anxiety.
Here's the TBS is case anyone needs it.

I have a 2015 that I know has not had the flush. If I take it to a dealer to have it done will they just do it without question even if it does not show signs of shuddering? I also have the extended warranty. Will that cover it?

There's been cases here where dealer's have simply preformed the triple-flush for owners without any question or cost, then others where dealers have pushed back. You may want to contact your local Corvette club and ask for recommendations as to which area dealers have preformed the triple-flush for members successfully and without charge.
If memory serves, the process costs around $600>$700 if you have to pay. Sounds like your 2015 C7 falls into the approx 95% of all C7 A8s that have not experienced any issues.
I recommend you print out the TBS 18-NA-355 I attached in post #2 above and take it to whichever dealer you decide to take your C7 to. Good Luck!
Was done before the new fluid under warranty but with old style fluid. Had it done on my dime tshe second time and added Lubegard additive and it cured it.It was a 15 and nodt have a 19.
Has anyone performed a fluid change to the new fluid without undergoing the full triple flush detailed in the service bulletin as a preventative measure if the symptoms aren't severe? Are the fluids incompatible and require full removal of the original fluid for proper operation?
Any links to a writeup detailing what the problem was with the original fluid and what characteristics of the new fluid address the issue?
In '21 I bought an as new '16 with 3K miles and thanks to this forum 👍 I was well aware of the triple flush procedure. Although my car was showing no signs of the "shudder" I had the TF performed under the TSB which I had to show to the service manager. It was done correctly because they have a great Corvette tech and the car now has 20K miles, still no issues. I went to the garage the next morning and checked underneath and there were no leaks, not so much as one drop of fluid to be seen anywhere. I know techs don't get paid as much for warranty work so the next day I stopped by the dealership and tipped the tech $100. It was worth it to me for the great service I received and it pays to build a good relationship with a mechanic that knows what they're doing. My dad always said "Take care of the people that take care of you". That's served me well in life.

They will not cover it. Bring a copy of the TSB with you and tell them you want it done. I bought a 2015 Z06 last year and had the flush done on my dime. It was $500 ish and about 2-1/2 hours as I recall.

How much did you pay?
I was quoted $1000 at Fremont Chevrolet (Bay Area, CA).
I just did a 4x fluid extract and refill at home and it made all the difference. I was skeptical for sure but it made a massive diff! Total cost less than $300 for 24 quarts blue label mobile 1.
My backup plan was to drop the pan and change the filter if this didn’t fix it but only 39k miles so I didn’t want to drop the pan if I didnt have to. I’ve heard some horror stories about people damaging something when dropping their pan.
if you are experiencing hard shifts or shudders I highly recommend getting some new blue label fluid in asap.

Some have performed the triple flush themselves, some have done only a single flush to cure the problem. Many do either as a preventive measure. There's a thread at the top of this forum with more info. See below.

after doing a 4x fluid extract and refill myself last week, I think just doing one single flush isn’t enough. As the fluid for me after one flush was still nearly as dark as the first drain.
It really took until the 3-4 drain to start seeing some decent improvement in the color of fluid. Not saying it won’t work with just one flush, but the fluid will only be about half new with half old.
If I would have dropped the pan it wouldn’t have taken 4 flushes to see the diff in fluid however. Take this for what it’s worth. you can pull out about exactly half of the total trans fluid without dropping the (pan 5-6 quarts). It was disturbing how dark the fluid was after less than 40k miles!
Just a note, the Tranny Triple Flush is done free under the Five Year Power Train Warranty. If the Five Years has expired, there will probably be a charge. It is worth it.
