What happens is you keep lowering your agreed value and the price keeps going up anyway. It's not a fun game to play so I dropped them. I switched to NCM a few years ago and I am very happy with them.

Get an insurance policy that is good for a year, so, they can only raise your rates once a year!
I use SoCal AAA. I was rear ended at a stop light in my DD a few years ago and they really took care of me (driver took off). They use OEM Parts.

My insurance rates on cars and my house doubled this last year - Washington state insurance commissioner made it "illegal" to use credit scores to discount insurance since it's discriminatory, according to him... Fortunately, a judge just overturned this change so my credit score can be factored into a reduced rate.
You might see if your state has a similar moratorium on using credit scores due to "the pandemic."
