Just rememberd something else when at Costco. The The manager for the station was there too. Young guy, owns an STI. Big car guy. He came by to chat. I asked him how much fuel do you do a day. 200,000 liters. (52,000+ gallons) . So the fuel is fresh

I am in the British Columbia Corvette Club. 175 members. A great group of like-minded folks of all ages. Great gab sessions and events.
Check out a local club if there is one.

For me conversations at the gas pump go like this many times:
- "nice car"
- "Thanks"
- "What MPG you get in that thing?"
- "honestly I have no fu%^&ng clue"
They look at me for a moment then turn away

I did not label anyone stupid, only describing the tiresome, repetitious rote "humor" as stupid. You are free to enjoy the drivel if you would like.

I like when people ask how many miles to a gallon I get. I tell them about 42 mpg. They call bullshit and I energize the dash and show them. 42 mpg... I don't bother to tell them that was miles of coasting down the continental divide in Colo. I did that maybe 5 years ago, I never reset Best 25 miles reading.

I tell people my car is a hybrid. When they ask about it I tell them it burns gas and rubber!

That and the CB mount on the back is my trailer hitch.
